How to Get to Bora Bora
Bora Bora is in a very remote location and getting here isn’t easy. There are very limited flights to Bora Bora’s airport (only four per day) which is on the nearby islet of Motu Mute and they all depart from Tahiti.

If you’re departing from the U.S.A. you’ll fly to Faa’a International Airport in Tahiti and then catch a short 45-minute connection flight to Bora Bora Airport. The flight duration from United States to Bora Bora is around 10 hours, 50 minutes.

Flights to Bora Bora from the UK and Europe take around 31-33 hours and you will usually need to do two or three stops in places like New York, Los Angeles and Tahiti.

Best Time to Visit Bora Bora
The most popular time of the year to visit is between May to October when there is less chances of rain but this is also peak tourist season. Going between November and April is recommend when there are less tourists and the weather is slightly cooler.
